πΎ L's Life in a Big City (1) Poster πΎ
This photo is an ad of a university recruiting students. If you can read Japanese, you will understand which faculties are recruiting now. "η°ε’η§ε¦ι¨" literally means "Environmental science faculty" and "εΏηε¦ι¨" means "Psychology faculty." Of course I'm interested in "Environmental science faculty," but this time I'll cover "εΏηε¦ι¨." You can see a photo of a man standing beside a car. He's using the police radio and a Kojak light is placed on the car's roof. This image is describing the result of studying in "Criminal psychology department" or "η―η½ͺεΏηε¦η§." Then, why this photo symbolizes "Criminal psychology department"?
You can find many detective TV dramas even in Japan. There are several ways of stories. And "crime scene investigation police dramas" are very popular, which are only adaptations of the American TV series. In these dramas, heroes hunt down criminals using their sharp insight especially "using psychological approach." I think several "Criminal psychology departments" are already existing in traditional universities. However, this university is going to start the department now. Because they think criminal psychology is a theme which is worth learning for the youth aiming for universities now. And they are dreaming getting such kind of jobs in the future. Moreover, they may think they become cool detectives.
